Description

The Huawei LUNA2000-7-E1 is the storage module for the new Huawei LUNA2000-7/14/21-S1 lithium battery system, designed for self-consumption installations.

The Huawei LUNA2000-7/14/21-S1 solar battery features a modular and scalable design. With storage capacities ranging from 6.9 to 20.7 kWh per battery system, the LUNA2000-S1 series meets a wide variety of energy-storage requirements and allows the system capacity to be expanded as needed.

A modular storage system consists of one LUNA2000-10KW-C1 power control module and one or more LUNA2000-7-E1 battery modules.

Each battery module provides a storage capacity of 6.9 kWh and a discharge power of 3.5 kW. Systems with a storage capacity of 13.8 kWh provide a discharge power of 7 kW, while systems with a capacity of 20.7 kWh provide up to 10.5 kW.

Modular Design

Each Huawei LUNA2000-7-E1 battery module has a capacity of 6.9 kWh and is compatible with the Huawei LUNA2000-10KW-C1 battery management module.

Up to three battery modules can be connected to one power control module, providing a maximum storage capacity of 20.7 kWh per system.

The system can be expanded by connecting up to four LUNA2000-S1 storage systems in parallel to the same compatible inverter, such as the SUN2000-12–25K-MB0, providing a maximum total storage capacity of 82.8 kWh.

Advantages of the Huawei LUNA2000-S1 Storage System

Lithium iron phosphate technology, also known as LFP, is widely recognised as one of the safest and most stable battery chemistries for energy-storage systems. It offers a wide operating-temperature range and a reduced risk of overheating.

The independent temperature-control system ensures that the battery cells and energy optimisers operate reliably in both cold and warm environments. It protects the system against excessive heat while eliminating the need for a noisy cooling fan.

Independent module-level management enables each battery module to charge and discharge at up to 3.5 kW. A complete LUNA2000-21-S1 energy-storage system can provide a maximum input and output power of 10.5 kW.

The Huawei LUNA2000-7-E1 battery supports backup power during utility grid outages. When a power failure occurs, the LUNA2000-S1 storage system can continue supplying electricity to essential lighting and household appliances.

The LUNA2000-10KW-C1 control module features advanced communication and load-management capabilities, supporting a complete smart-home energy-management experience.
